About Jeff
Here is a little more about my
background that may interest you.
I am the oldest of two sons born
to Don and Jo Oesterle and was raised on the family farm
near Mason.
I attended school in Mason and
graduated from Mason High School. While in school I
participated in sports, choir, and in the annual high school
musicals.
After graduating from high school I attended and graduated from Grand Valley State College with a teaching degree. I married my wife of 40 years while we were both in college.

Dawn and I moved back to Mason
where she taught for Mason Public Schools and we raised our
twin sons, Donald and Russell. I came back to the farm
and spent a number of years farming spring, summer and fall,
then substitute teaching in the winter months. I also
coached some basketball during these years.
It was during this time that I
also ran for Vevay Township Trustee and was elected. Soon
after this I was elected Township Supervisor. I held these
positions for a total of more than 20 years. Below is a list
